This position requires discretion and confidentiality.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Communications Team to develop a short and long-term media strategy in accordance with Adoptee Hub’s brand and mission.
• Execute the media strategy by finding opportunities for interviews and appearances in media outlets.
• Provide training for Adoptee Hub volunteers on giving interviews.
• Attend bi-weekly meetings and Adoptee Hub social events either in-person or virtually.

Qualifications and Specialized Skills:

• Request member to be an adoptee, if possible, or associated with an adoptee community in some capacity.
• Background in communications, media, public relations, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience developing media strategies and securing media appearances.
• Experienced with Microsoft Office 365 and One Drive.
