Board of Director Officer Position - Director of Communications

Adoptee Hub is accepting applications for a Board of Director position who will assume the duties of the Director of Communications. This individual will be reviewing all of the information and visual display of Adoptee Hub news and events throughout multiple social media platforms for consistency in accordance the Adoptee Hub Style Guide.

This position requires discretion and confidentiality. This is a 3-year term position.

  • Collaborate with Director of Information Technology to ensure all web development and messaging is in accordance with the approved Adoptee Hub Style Guide as well as Adoptee Hub’s brand.
  • Develop and maintain the approved Adoptee Hub Style Guide.
  • Ensure that the Adoptee Hub image is professional in appearance and information that is displayed throughout the multiple social media outlets.
  • Attend monthly BOD meetings and provide project updates to Board.
  • Support Adoptee Hub financially as a supporting member.
  • Ensure that any displayed projects are aligned with the approved Style Guide and depicts the Adoptee Hub language and story we wish to convey.

  • Request member to be an Adoptee, if possible, or associated with an Adoptee community in some capacity.
  • Knowledgable of Web design and standards.
  • Knowledgeable of Asana project management tool software application.
  • Previous Management experience ideal.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office 365 and One Drive.

  • Dedicate 20 hours monthly towards Adoptee Hub events and project needs.
  • Actively support and attend Adoptee Hub events, either in person or virtually.
