About: Adoptee Hub and Adapted Podcast invite you to be part of the discussion on one of the most important issues facing international adoptees today, citizenship. There are several thousand individuals adopted internationally by American citizens between 1948 and 2016 that may not have received their U.S. citizenship and who face many barriers including possible deportation.

Today, many live in fear because of an immigration loophole and its subsequent fix that has still not protected all adoptees. Come hear more about the issue, proposed bipartisan bills in Congress, and what resources are available.

Panelists: Greg Luce, attorney, Adoptee Rights Law Center
Leah, impacted adoptee
Taneka Jennings, adoptee rights advocate, Adoptees For Justice

Moderator: Kaomi Goetz, Adapted Podcast
